I have taken a break from blogging and in this post I explain why.
Not all photography projects end up being completed, but all of them result in learning. In this blog post, I write about an aborted project portraying folded flowers of the California poppy.
Although critique is fundamental to becoming a better photographer, it is important to keep in mind that constantly letting others tell you what to do and how to do it may not be desirable.
Critique can be helpful, but only if we go beyond “C&C welcome” and give other photographers some background information, to guide their efforts to understand our vision.
The weekend passed fast. I stare at an empty blog post and wonder, what am I fishing for?
