On this day, we gather to celebrate the timeless values of liberty and freedom, and to honor the unwavering spirit of patriotism of (almost) every American. Let us delve deeper into the significance of this moment, as we pause to recognize the vision and sacrifices of the founding fathers.
Last year I opened Independence Day with the image below, but for this year I made a different one, and inverted the image (featured image) to create a sharp contrast between black and white. Inverted images are analogous to a negative in film. Both images are about the Demise of the Salsify Puffball.
