The FEATURED PHOTOGRAPH, repeated below for convenience, was taken on 2024-07-28, with a Nikon 24-70 mm at 70 mm, f/11, 1/500s, ISO 320, handheld. I have added it to my project and series “Light Matters”, which is dedicated to the light and how it can transform mundane subjects and landscapes into something special. In the early in the morning, the light over the Golden Gate bridge was spotty, and the pelicans flying around gave the whole scene an interesting touch.
