What would you like to see more on this blog?

Finally through with my first bout of COVID, I was beginning to think that it was impossible for me to catch it. In the congress, in the underground of a casino in Reno, we had an outbreak. What could be a better opportunity for a virus to spread? People coming from all over the world in airplanes to congregate… Eating and drinking together in the end of a day of shaking hands, hugging, talking out loud to win over the humming noise of others’ talking… Some of us have known each other for decades, it’s only natural to trust that a friend won’t give you something mortal.

Wrong!

For days I thought I had allergies and the rapid test, which is no longer covered by insurance, kept returning a negative result. Until it was positive, but then I already had fiver. Plenty of time to spread it around! Bummer!

I have written blog posts for almost three years now, and maybe it is time to ask what types of posts interest my followers more. I’m excited to create my first poll, hope it’s going to be a fun experiment. You may click on an option or simply write down an answer in the comments.

The FEATURED IMAGE is part of my “Digital Images” portfolio at GeoGalleries. If you are curious about how it was made, I wrote a previous post about it here.

Sorry to hear about your bout with Covid, and glad to know you’re over it.

Regarding your poll, all the choices sound like good themes for posts. Within each one you still have lots of room for variety.

It’s not if, it’s when. It’s everywhere now.

Hope you’re feeling better. I’m not sure this helps, but just like your photography expertise and how you drill it down to novices like myself.

Any of those offerings sound good. I’m most interested in posts that reflect your interests; there’s never been one (even the more technical) that I haven’t enjoyed and profited from.

Wasn’t there a way to make this a multiple-choice poll? Unsurprisingly, I chose the one about photo projects but this doesn’t mean I wouldn’t be interested in the b/w tips or the nature/ecology-related posts.

I guess I’m not so good at making pools. And the only way I can see the results is by voting! Thanks for your feedback.

Sorry about your Covid experience although it sounds like it wasn’t a terrible one, but not good in any extent. You said first but hopefully only. Mary Beth and I each had it last summer. I believe I was among the first adopters when it was unknown to the general public. My doctor diagnosed it as a pneumonia but an odd one.

Re; the poll, I checked off the Ecology item but am happy with whatever you choose to post. I really enjoy your b&w florals but many of the others are of new subjects to me which is always enjoyable.

On Feb 2020 several of us travelled to the desert to collect insects and when we came back all of us got sick, a senior scientist got really sick and I dragged for weeks feeling sluggish. Who knows maybe it was. There was no test no vaccine. This that I had was quick. Tough you getting over COVID pneumonia, many have died of it. Thanks for your feedback.

Hmmm, I know that feeling of thinking your immune I thought so too. But now I’m just starting to get over my first bout. Can’t seem to shake it just yet. I voted for development of photography projects. Always interesting to hear about.
